I just realized that Thanksgiving is exactly TWO WEEKS from today (Yes, TWO WEEKS!!), which kind of sent me into a mild panic, because HELLO?!?! Right on the heels of Thanksgiving is… Christmas!
I am not prepared.
Are you prepared?
It just seems like Christmas involves so many things: parties, events, extra choir (or ballet, or piano, etc. etc.) practices, performances, Church services, family get-togethers, presents to buy, presents to make, etc. etc. etc. The list could go on forever. This year? My goal is to simplify. {Coming up in December, I’m going to have a whole 25-day series sharing with you how I’m planning to simplify my Christmas this year. You’re gonna love it!}
But I have a little sneak-peek simplification idea that you are just gonna love. L-O-V-E.
It’s about Christmas Cards. I have a love-hate relationship with those things. I love receiving them, but going through the process of writing them and mailing them is kind of a big fat pain. I’ve simplified my process throughout the years, but frankly, there have been some Christmases that went completely card-less because it was just easier to eliminate that whole hassle.
This year, though, I’m happy to have discovered Tiny Prints. They have some of the most beautiful and creative Christmas cards I’ve ever seen, and I’m not exaggerating! All you have to do is upload your favorite picture(s) and they will be formatted right into a personalized Christmas card for you. You don’t even need fancy professional photos (although those are always fun!); fun snapshots will work just as well.
Because you can personalize the photo cards right online when you order them, you don’t have to go through the ordeal of writing handwritten notes except for close friends and family. You can also order matching address labels to eliminate that step, too! So once your cards arrive in the mail, all you have to do is address them and send them off (buy your stamps at the grocery store or online so you don’t have to stand in line at the post office!).
And wow. Wouldn’t it feel good to have that task out of the way by the beginning of December?
Of course, there is always the question of cost. Trust me, I know that’s always a big issue. I never order online unless I can get free shipping, and thankfully, Tiny Prints has a free shipping code right now: FREESHIP12. And if you order right now, you can get 25% off your purchase sitewide with the code: NOV25SW. That code ends November 13, so you might want to take advantage of it right away if you’re at all interested. You can see more of Tiny Prints’ current promotions here.
Curious about the idea, but not sure if it’s for you? Just like at an ice cream shop (mmm, ice cream!), you can try some samples to see if these cards are all they’re cracked up to be. Simply choose up to 3 cards you’re interested in and use the code 3FREESAMPLES.
Tiny Prints is generously offering one of my readers a $50 gift code to their website to order Christmas cards. The code must be used by December 14, 2012, and does not include shipping or any other promotions. This contest ends on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at midnight EST, and is only available in the US.
